Hot Shooting Raiders Move To 4-1

The Southern Oregon men shot 52 percent from the field to knock off Bethany 84-76 tonight in Klamath Falls.

Southern Oregon improved to 4-1 on the season and hosts Simpson Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.

Roland Johnson turned in his best night as a Raider, finishing with 18 points on 8-for-11 shooting. Armani Jackson scored double-digits for the second straight game with 12 points, while Humphrey Jackson had 11 points and nine assists and Austin Wolfer had 10 points.

Jason Maples had 20 points for Bethany.

Southern Oregon shot 56 percent in the first half to build a 43-36 halftime lead and then withstood the Bethany come back.

After Tuesday's game with Simpson, SOU will host the annual Flagship Inn Invitational Friday and Saturday at McNeal Pavilion.
