Southern Oregon landed 18 student-athletes on the Cascade Conference's Fall All-Academic team.
To earn the honor, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and be at least a sophomore.
The SOU cross country program led the way with nine student-athletes on the list, including
Kelly Clark (Laguna Niguel, Calif./Aliso Niguel),
Ryan Ghelfi (Redding, Calif./Redding Adventist),
Kristen Juveland (Central Point, Ore./Crater),
David Laney (Portland, Ore./Central Catholic),
Ryan Matz (Chico, Calif./Pleasant Valley),
Chris Paterson (Forest Grove, Ore./Forest Grove),
Levi Roudebush (Grants Pass, Ore./North Valley), Josh Seitz and
Kael Steiner-Bailey (Anchorage, Alaska/Dimond).
The Raider volleyball team was represented by
Leah Bergstrom (West Linn, Ore./West Linn),
Dolores Christensen (Paradise, Calif./Paradise),
Heather Porter (Coos Bay, Ore./Marshfield),
Angela Spieker (Bremerton, Wash./Central Kitsap),
Leanne Stennett (Encinitas, Calif./San Dieguito) and
Natalie Wilson (Caldwell, Idaho/Vallivue).
The SOU women's soccer team had
Mo Costello (Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt), Kristin Delsigne and
Auika Muragin (Koloa, Hawaii/Kauai) on the squad.
