Southern Oregon senior Jacki Speer (Centralia, Wash./Centralia) has been named the Cascade Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Speer averaged 24.5 points and 15.5 rebounds in leading the Raiders to victories over Northwest and Evergreen State.

For the season, Speer leads the conference in both scoring (20.7) and rebounding (13.8). Speer also ranks second in the NAIA in rebounding, fifth in scoring and 16th in blocks (1.85).

The Raiders, 18-8 overall and 7-8 in conference play, have won three straight and are now tied with Oregon Tech for the fifth and sixth spots in the conference standings. SOU travels to Oregon Tech Saturday night.
