Southern Oregon senior Meghan Laughlin and sophomore Kathryn Moy both earned Cascade Conference All-Conference honors the conference office announced over the weekend.

Laughlin earned her second-straight All-Conference honor and second-straight Gold Glove Award for her play in the outfield. Moy picked up Honorable Mention All-Conference honors.

Laughlin finished second on the team and 10th in the conference with a .369 batting average and also finished second in the league with three triples.

A three-time All-Conference selection, Laughlin finished up her career ranking second in SOU history for doubles (31) and triples (8), fourth for battling average (.381) and fifth for hits (126), runs batted in (76) and total bases (186).

Moy finished third on the team in hitting at .322 and also set a school record with 15 doubles.

Concordia’s Ali Paz was named the Conference’s Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year and Concordia’s Renee Santos took home Pitcher of the Year honors.

Southern Oregon finished the season 16-23 and played in the semifinals of the Cascade Conference Postseason Tournament.
