COMPLETE ACADEMIC ALL-CCC TEAM

LA GRANDE – Seven Southern Oregon University basketball players were named to the U.S. Bank Academic All-Cascade Collegiate Conference team, the conference office announced Wednesday.

Jeff Bush (West Linn, Ore./West Linn), Jacob Kaler (Camas, Wash./Camas Valley), Justin Martin (Central Point, Ore./Crater), Joel Spear (Adelaide, Australia/St. Michaels), Eric Thompson (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) and Tim Weber (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) were selected from the Raider men's team. Carly Meister (Elma, Wash./Elma) represented the SOU women.

Bush, Thompson and Weber were repeat selections.

To be eligible for recognition, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 and a sophomore academic standing. In all, 73 CCC student-athletes were honored.
