ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon University football team is inviting fans to join in welcoming it's 2015 recruiting class and to be a part of its 2014 awards banquet.

The Raiders are holding a signing day party this Wednesday, on national signing day, at Granite Taphouse, which is located at 23 N. Main St. in Ashland. The festivities will begin around 5:30 p.m. as coaches, current players and incoming local signees will join.

The 2014 football awards banquet will be held at Ashland's Belle Fiore winery, which is located approximately 1 1/2 miles up Dead Indian Road, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 14. Guests are asked to pay $25 per person for a brunch buffet.

The Raiders will be honored and hang their 2014 NAIA championship banner at halftime of the Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech basketball game on at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 at Riehm Arena.
