Biography

2018: Emerged as one of the Cascade Conference's most dominant middles during her sophomore season, earning second-team NAIA All-America, All-CCC and All-West Region accolades... Became just the 10th player in team history to land on an All-America team, and was also recognized as an NAIA Scholar Athlete and member of the Academic All-CCC team... Named to the NAIA Championships All-Tournament squad after posting 48 kills and 17 blocks over five matches... Attacked at a .380 average, which was the sixth-best in the NAIA and sixth-best in SOU single-season history. In conference play, her .387 average ranked second only to teammate Elliott Cook... Posted 2.7 kills per set and ranked seventh in the CCC in blocks at 1.01 per frame... In a five-set win at College of Idaho on Sept. 1, she matched the highest block total for a Raider in the last decade with 12 to go along with 15 kills... Had 10-plus kills with an average of .500 or better on seven occasions... Went for a season-high 17 kills in a five-set win against Northwest on Oct. 27.

2017: During her redshirt-freshman season, emerged as one of the top middles in the Cascade Conference and landed on the Academic All-CCC team... Ranked second in the conference in hitting percentage (.329) and sixth in blocks (1.1), and during conference play hit .346... Started all 23 matches in which she appeared and averaged 2.4 kills per set (193 total), the second-highest clip on the team... Had nine blocks on Aug. 16 against The Master's, most for a Raider all season, and tallied a season-high 17 kills on 30 attacks (.400) in a five-set win over Evergreen on Sept. 23... Hit better than .400 in nine different matches.

2016: Redshirted.

High School: Graduated in 2016 from El Dorado High... Ranked eighth in the state in blocks as a senior, leading her team to a perfect league season and a second straight title as its most valuable player... In track and field she notched the second-best high jump mark in school history and the third-fastest 300-meter hurdles time

Personal: Born on Nov. 25, 1997 in Placerville, Calif... Hoyt ranked eighth in the state in blocks as a senior, leading El Dorado High to a perfect league season and a second straight title as its most valuable player... The daughter of Jennifer and Curtis and older sister to one brother, Cadence, and one sister, Makena... Majoring in environmental studies.
