Biography
2019 Track: Earned Academic All-Cascade Conference recognition… Ran at only two meets due to injury, finishing the 5K in 15:37.15 at the Hornet Invitational and 16:09.77 at the Raider Invitational.
2018 XC: Placed 43rd of 61 at the Cascade Conference Championships in 27:37.5 on an 8K course… An Academic All-CCC honoree… Logged his best 8K time at the Lewis & Clark Invite on Oct. 13, finishing in 25:05.6 for 22nd place of 135 runners.
2018 Track: At the Humboldt Invite on March 24, was the 5K runner-up with a season-best time of 15:48.96… Ran the 1,500 in 4:14.01 at the Chico Wildcat Invite in his collegiate track debut on March 10.
2017 XC: Was 50th of 76 at the Cascade Conference Championships in 28:34.3… Had the best outing of his freshman campaign at the William Jessup Invitational, clocking in at 24:34.5 for 23rd place of 114.
High School: A 2017 graduate of Lakeridge High, where he placed fourth at the district championships to help his team to a cross country title as a senior.
Personal: Born on June 29, 1999 in Portland, Oregon… The son of Carmen Castro and Daniel Harbert… Has a brother, Max… Majoring in business.
