Biography
2016-17: A Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Cascade Conference selection… Appeared in all 31 games for the Raiders and started 27 of them at shooting guard, recording 8.8 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game overall… Shot 43 percent from the field (87-of-201), 26-of-80 from downtown and 80.4 percent from the line (74-of-92)… Ranked seventh in the CCC in free-throw percentage, 12th in assists and 11th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.6-to-1)… Scored in double figures 13 times and career-highs of 21 on two occasions – Dec. 9 at Corban and Jan. 14 against Eastern Oregon – going a combined 20-for-20 at the line in those games, both Raider wins… Dished out a career-high nine assists on Jan. 28 against Multnomah… Went 4-for-5 from 3-point range on Jan. 21 at Evergreen, totaling 21 points.
2015-16: Appeared in all 33 games and started 21 as a sophomore, averaging 7.1 points on 41-percent shooting from the field and 38 percent from downtown, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists... Scored a career-high 19 points on Feb. 13 against Eastern Oregon, one of 11 times he reached double figures... Lifted SOU to wins with 13 straight points against Eastern Oregon (Feb. 13), 10 straight against Evergreen (Jan. 21) and 14 of 17 at one point against Warner Pacific (Dec. 31)... Had 10 points, six rebounds and five assists against Mount Mercy (Iowa) in the national tournament... Named to the Academic All-CCC team.
2014-15: Averaged 4.8 points off the bench as a true freshman, including 8.1 over the last 12 games, on 41-percent shooting from the field and a 34-percent clip from 3-point range... Saved the Raiders' season with two game-tying free throws in the final second of overtime in SOU's eventual 98-92 defeat or Northwest Christian in the CCC quarterfinals... Scored a season-high 14 points at Evergreen (Feb. 7) and against Northwest Christian (Feb. 21), and scored eight points on 3-of-4 shooting in the quarterfinals of the national tournament against Embry-Riddle (Fla.) on March 14.
High School: Graduated in 2014 from Spanish Springs High, which he left with a weighted grade-point average of 4.41 and as the all-time leading scorer with 1,181 points... Led his team to its first appearance in the top-level Nevada state tournament as a senior, averaging 19.9 points, 4.2 assists, 3.1 steals and three rebounds for second-team all-state accolades.
