Biography

2020-21: An Academic All-Cascade Conference honoree.

2019-20: Broke into the regular rotation with 28 appearances and five starts... Led the team in field-goal percentage at 63.2 percent (43-of-68), averaging 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds... Scored a season-high 14 points in a win Dec. 20 against Eastern Oregon... Boosted the Raiders with seven points on 3-of-3 shooting in a CCC Tournament quarterfinal win over Warner Pacific... Named to the Academic All-CCC team.

2019 Track & Field: Was a midseason addition to SOU's roster and captured the Cascade Conference high jump championship on May 10 at Raider Stadium as the meet's No. 7 seed, clearing 6 feet 5 inches to help the Raiders win the team title... Appeared in three other meets and placed sixth in his debut at the Raider Invite with a mark of 6-1 1/2.

2018-19: Made 14 appearances off the bench, totaling 32 points, 28 rebounds and six blocks in 65 minutes... Had season-highs of six points and nine rebounds on Nov. 16 against New Hope.

2017-18: Appeared in 28 games and started one as a freshman for the Raiders, averaging nine minutes per outing... Had averages of 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds, shooting 67 percent from the field (36-of-54) and ranking third on the team with 17 blocked shots... Recorded season-highs of 19 points and nine rebounds on Dec. 2 against Eastern Oregon, going 8-of-10 from the field.

Prior to SOU: Redshirted the 2016-17 season at South Puget Sound Community College (Wash.).

Personal: Born on Nov. 14, 1997 in Burlington, Iowa… The son of Carrie and Darby Washington… Has an older sister, Alec Monaghan, and three younger sisters: Hanna, Tamryn and Tiana… Majoring in emerging media and digital arts.

High School: A 2016 graduate of South Medford High, where he was a teammate of current Raiders Hunter Bradford and Conor Carroll… Was an All-Southwest Conference first-team selection for a team that went 27-3 and advanced to the OSAA 6A championship game as a senior… Competing for the Panthers track and field team, broke the school’s high-jump record with a mark of 6 feet 7 ½ inches.
