Biography
2016-17: Named a Capital One Academic All-District 4 Team member – one of 22 all-district selections in the NAIA – for her combined performance on the court and in the classroom, as well as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Cascade Conference selection… Coming off a CCC Defensive Player of the Year campaign, ranked third in the conference in steals per game (2.9), eighth in assists (3.2), second in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8-to-1) and 28th in points (9.8)… Set a school single-game record with 11 steals on Jan. 28 against Multnomah… Scored a career-high 22 points (in part by going 11-of-12 at the free-throw line) on Dec. 18 against Northwest, and scored 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting in SOU’s NAIA Division II Tournament game on March 9 against Northwestern (Iowa)… Collected at least four steals in eight games… Shot 41 percent from the field (112-of-272) and 75 percent from the free-throw line (69-of-92) with 22 made 3-pointers.
2015-16: Voted the Cascade Conference co-Defensive Player of the Year... Averaged 5.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.2 steals... Had a breakout game with 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting on Dec. 20 at Northwest, and later matched that effort in the national quarterfinals with 14 points and five steals on March 12 against Tabor (Kan.)... Collected a season-high seven steals on Jan. 15 at College of Idaho and ultimately averaged 2.4 in just 18.6 minutes of work per game during conference play... Stepped into the starting lineup in the national semifinal and title games, and produced 11 points, seven steals, seven boards and five assists.
Prior to SOU: Played her freshman season, 2014-15, at Clackamas Community College... Averaged 11.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists (which led the Northwest Athletic Conference) and 3.4 steals... Named to the NWAC Southern Region's all-defensive team.
High School: Graduated in 2014 from Oregon City High, where as a senior she was a second-team all-state performer and helped lead the Pioneers to an OSAA Class 6A title.
Personal: Born on Jan. 23, 1996 in Beaverton, Oregon... Mother's name is Gayle; has two younger brothers, Trevon (a receiver at Oregon State) and Teron; an older sister, Tiani (a former teammate at SOU); and a younger sister, Tyra... Majoring in chemistry.
