Biography
2020-21: No season due to COVID-19.
2019-20: Was named to the All-Cascade Conference first team for the first time after leading the Raiders to the NAIA Division II National Tournament ... Among all CCC players, ranked second in rebounds per game at 8.3 (the highest average for any Raider in 10 yeras) and third in steals per game at 2.2 ... Added 9.9 points per game on 36% shooting and posted four double-doubles, all during conference play ... Pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds on Feb. 1 against Northwest, and in SOU's CCC Tournament semifinal win at Eastern Oregon went for nine points and 12 boards.
2018-19: Earned All-Cascade Conference honorable mention accolades… Made 25 starts and averaged 11.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals, and in conference play ranked 15th in scoring (11.5), eighth in rebounding (6.8), sixth in steals (2.3) and 10th in 3-point percentage (37.7)… Shot 40 percent from the field overall (96-of-240)… Totaled 15-plus points nine times in SOU’s last 16 games, and had a career-high 30 points on 10-of-12 shooting with 10 rebounds in the CCC Tournament quarterfinals against College of Idaho, scoring 20 in the fourth quarter… Posted four double-doubles, including a 26-point, 10-rebound game against Evergreen on Dec. 15.
2017-18: Made 32 appearances off the bench as a freshman, averaging 5.0 points and 3.6 rebounds over 14 minutes per game … Scored in double figures four times, and had a season-high 17 points with 5-of-8 shooting from 3 against William Jessup on Nov. 18 … Had her first double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds against Multnomah on Dec. 30.
Personal: Born on April 7, 1999 in Hayward, California… The daughter of Tanya and Rodney Fryer ... Has two older sisters, Shai’La and Sah’Neya, and an older brother, Rodney II … Majoring in health and physical education.
High School: Graduated in 2017 from Manteca High, where as a senior she was a two-time Valley Oak League all-star and defensive player of the year … Averaged 8.5 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, helping her team to a league title and an appearance in the second round of the playoffs … Was named to the honor roll four years and a perennial member of the Principal’s List … Volunteered with the Manteca Senior Center, Stockton Food Bank, Harvest Food Bank, and Kicking For a Cure event for child cancer patients.
